Matthew Miller, Esq.

Matthew has over 27-years of experience handling personal injury matters. He has earned the highest ratings that can be given for legal skill and ethics under Martindale-Hubbell’s peer review ratings system. Listed among the Best Lawyers in America, Matthew has also been named one of “Omaha’s Top Lawyers” by Omaha Magazine every year since 2007.

Matthew began his legal career representing insurance companies in personal injury cases. As a result, he knows the tactics these companies and their lawyers use, and he can help you take the aggressive measures necessary to counteract them.

Matthew’s success as an insurance defense lawyer actually prompted him to change his career focus and go to work representing injured people. Matthew proclaims: “I can’t stand bullies. I discovered, when I did insurance defense work, that insurance companies were in a position to take advantage of people whose lives had been turned upside down because of the wrongful conduct of insured policy holders. While I had success in the courtroom on behalf of our insurance company clients, it left me convinced I was working for the wrong side. After winning a case I should not have won, I quit my job and went to work representing injured people. I vowed that I would never again represent an insurance company.”

Matthew genuinely cares about each client. Matthew continues: “People come to us having suffered tragic, horrendous harms and losses. I frequently see people whose entire lives, and the lives of their families, have been devastated by someone else’s wrongful conduct. These wrongdoers are almost always represented by insurance companies. That’s where we come in. We’re able to level the playing field and to make sure that no one we represent is going to get pushed around or exploited by an insurance company. Ever.”

Recognized as an expert is all aspects of personal injury law, Matthew is frequently asked by other lawyers and judges to serve as a mediator to parties involved in personal injury cases and to help them resolve their cases without having to go to court.

Matt Miller is a very personable attorney. When I was injured in an accident, he took the time to come to my house and meet with me until I was physically able to come to his office. I feel I received better service from Matt Miller than any other attorney in the Omaha area. I highly recommend Matt Miller to anyone needing assistance with a personal injury claim. ” – Lisa B., Motor Vehicle Accident Victim

They worked with both insurance companies as well as Medicare giving us the time to focus on her recovery and planning for her care post-accident. Their performance was seamless and they worked with my busy schedule for any required meetings. Only THEIR negotiations with Medicare and insurance created a resolution where we didn’t have to worry about the future. Will recommend Matt and staff always.” – M. O.
